Leinster Green Irish Tartan. Leinster Green Irish is a blue-based tartan with shades of green and a red overcheck. The existing provinces of Ireland can be traced back to Kingdoms in the fifth century ruled by "Ri Coicd" or Kings of a Fifth, indicated that there were originally five kingdoms or provinces, Connaucht, Leinster, Meath, Munster, and Ultser.
