Kilgour Modern Lightweight Tartan is a traditional green-based tartan with shades of navy blue and red, with a yellow overcheck. Woven using 100% Pure New Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products, accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects. Made here in our mill in Selkirk, Scotland.

The surname is said to have originated at Kiklgour, near Falkland in Fifeshire. Later, the name appears in Aberdeenshire and Perthshire with the names varying during the passing of centuries.
