Kilgour Modern Heavyweight Tartan is a traditional green-based tartan with shades of navy blue and red, with a yellow overcheck. Woven using 100% Scottish Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products and accessories.

The surname is said to have originated at Kiklgour, near Falkland in Fifeshire. Later, the name appears in Aberdeenshire and Perthshire with the names varying during the passing of centuries.
