Innes Red Modern Tartan. Innes Red Modern is a classic red-based tartan with a bold black check and yellow and blue overcheck. Woven in 100% Pure New Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products and accessories. Clan Innes was found in Moray as early as the 12th century. Malcolm IV granted a charter of the lands of Innes to Berowald in 1160. In 1767 the lands of Innes were sold by Sir James, 6th Baronet, to the Earl of Fife.
