Lochcarron Of Scotland Holyrood Weathered Heavyweight Selkirk Tweed Tartan Fabric

Holyrood Weathered Heavyweight Tartan is muted with navy blue and brown base with white, light blue and yellow overchecks.

Our Selkirk Tweed is made from 100% pure new wool and, 50% of the wool is of Scottish origin. As we continue our environmental journey one of our aims is to increase our use of British sourced yarns for our fabrics and accessories. The Selkirk Tweed stock range comprises of nine classic tartans interpreted to reflect our natural environment and have been woven with a kilting selvedge. This quality is based on our premium Strome and is a beautiful addition to our stocked tartans.

Orginally based on the Royal Stewart tartan sett, it was produced at Lochcarron of Scotland in 1977 to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The design has proved extremely popular since its inception.
