Hay & Leith Modern Tartan. Hay and Leith Modern is a bright traditional red-based tartan with shades of blue, and green. Woven in 100% Pure New Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products and accessories. Dating back to around 1819, this tartan was designed by Wilsons of Bannockburn to represent a marriage between the Hay and Leith families. The tartan is more commonly recognised as a Clan Hay tartan.
