Hay Ancient Lightweight Tartan is a vibrant orange-based tartan with a green and yellow check centered within a white and black windowpane. Woven using 100% Pure New Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products, accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects. Made here in our mill in Selkirk, Scotland.

Clan Hay has played an important role in the history and politics of Scotland with members found in most parts of Scotland. The clan descends from the Norman family of de la Haye and the progenitors of the Scottish clan were William II de Haya and his wife, Eva of Pitmilly.
