Gillies Modern Lightweight Modern is a traditional navy-blue and bottle-green based tartan with a yellow and red overcheck. Woven in 100% Pure New Wool this tartan is available for accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects. Made here at our mill in Selkirk, Scotland.

This name comes from the Gaelic Gillelosa, the Servant of Jesus. It was common at one time in Badenoch, where the Macphersons of Invereshie were known as the Sliochd Gillies.
