Gillies Ancient Heavyweight Tartan is a vibrant blue and green based tartan with yellow and orange overcheck. Woven using 100% Scottish Wool this tartan is available for accessories, upholstery and craft projects. Made here at our mill in Selkirk, Scotland.

This name comes from the Gaelic Gillelosa, the Servant of Jesus. It was common at one time in Badenoch, where the Macphersons of Invereshie were known as the Sliochd Gillies.
