Forsyth Modern Lightweight Tartan is a classic green and blue-based tartan with a red overcheck, woven using 100% Pure New Wool. Can be made into kilts, clothing, soft furnishings and craft projects.

The origin of this name is doubtful, but it may be derived from the Gaelic Fearsithe, meaning “Man of Peace". A Forsyth (to use the modern spelling) was given land at Sauchie, Stirlingshire.
