Forbes Modern is a dark blue and green based tartan with a small overcheck, woven using 100% Pure New Wool. For over 800 years the house of Forbes has been settled in Aberdeenshire. During the Scottish War of Independence Alexander Forbes died defending Urquhart Castle against King Edward I of England.
