Forbes Modern Lightweight Tartan is a dark blue and green based tartan with a small overcheck, woven using 100% Pure New Wool. Can be made into kilts, clothing, soft furnishings and craft-projects. Woven using 100% Pure New Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products, accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects. Made here in our mill in Selkirk, Scotland.

For over 800 years the house of Forbes has been settled in Aberdeenshire. During the Scottish War of Independence Alexander Forbes died defending Urquhart Castle against King Edward I of England.
