Ferguson Modern Heavyweight Tartan is a traditional green and blue based tartan with a red overcheck.

The Fergusons of Strachur claim to be descended from the Royal House of Dalraida. The Fergusons of Kilkerran descend from Fergus. There are some prominent branches of the Clan Ferguson in Aberdeenshire, Banffshire, Kincardineshire, Dumfries and Galloway.
