Dunbar Modern Heavyweight Tartan is a red and green based tartan with black overchecks, Woven using 100% Scottish Wool.

In 1702 King Malcolm III gave the lands of Dunbar to one Gospatric who was a kinsman of King Duncan. Gospatric became Earl of Dunbar and his descendant.
