Cranston Modern Lighweight Tartan is a vibrant green and navy blue based tartan with a red overcheck. Woven in Pure New Wool and is available for accessories, soft furnishings and crafts. Made in Scotland.

Originally the surname of Cranstoun or Cranston derived from the old Barony and present Parish of Cranston in Midlothian, the Cran being a location where cranes are found, and "Tun", a large farm.
