Buchanan Ancient Heavyweight Tartan is a green and orange based Strome tartan with a white overcheck, woven using 100% Scottish Wool. Strome tartan can be made into kilts, clothing, upholstery and craft-projects.

For close on 700 years the lands of Buchanan on the east side of Loch Lomond were possessed by the Buchanans. In Gaelic the name is known as Mac, Chanonaich meaning “Son of the Canon".
