Lindsay Modern is a maroon-based tartan with dark green and navy overchecks. Woven in 100% Pure New Wool this tartan is available for made-to-measure products and accessories. This family is of Norman descent and was found in the Border counties in the 12th century. The Lindsays were known as “The Lightsome Lindsays”. The seat of Earl Crawford and Balcarres is at Balcarres in Fife.
