Our Lochcarron Borders Scottsh Borderland Weathered Lambswool Blanket is a muted tartan with pale blue and sage green base and white and yellow overchecks. It is an ideal accessory to dress your home beautifully. Perfect for a cold winter's evening or alternatively, superb for use in the summer as a picnic rug. Made from 100% lambswool at our Selkirk mill the blanket combines traditional craftsmanship and quality. Why not inject a little Scottish personality into your interior style.

The Scottish Borderland original tartan was designed by Alistair Buchan the previous owner of Locharron of Scotland in 1996, and was inspired by the colours of the Scottish Borders landscape, the blues and greys of the River Tweed running through the region and soft greens that blankets the hills from Peebles across to the east coast,  this tartan is a district tartan and therefore does not have a clan chief. Home to clans such as the Elliots and the Scotts, relationships between Border Clans would vary from uneasy alliances to open, deadly feuds.
