Blair Modern Heavyweight Tartan is a classic green and blue based Strome tartan with red overchecks. Strome tartan can be made into kilts, clothing, upholstery and craft-projects.

Of territorial origin, from the Gaelic Blar, a moss, the name of this Strome tartan occurs in different parts of Scotland. One of the supporters of Sir William Wallace was Sir Bryce Blair of Blair.
