Littlephant Luxurious Linen Fabric By The Meter

The inspiration for our print Capri comes from the graphic stonework tile floors of villas around the Italian coasts, and the spirit of Swedish Axel Munthes Villa San Michele built in 1895 at Capri. That graphic culture have a resemblance to the rich graphics of Swedish folks costumes, where the work of the loom creates wonderful weaves with folkloristic expressions, all which have inspired Camillas print Capri.Capri is drawn by hand and small differences in the lines makes the print soft and graphic at the same time, like as if it was woven. It is printed on our beautiful high quality linen weave, which is lively and make our patterns age with grace. Colours may vary due to the natural character of the linen fiber and it’s giving our fabrics their uniqueness.Designed by Camilla Lundsten in Sweden in our studio in Stockholm.
