Colorful rivières are a constant in Emily’s designs. When she found a collection of beautiful buff-top tourmalines, ranging naturally from peach to burgundy, she knew a rivière had been conceived. At times, her stone sourcing is driven by a new design, but more-often-than-not, she acquires stones with the confidence that a beautiful design will emerge from the stones’ innate beauty, as is the case here.
