The online gallery of the architects Studio KO collaborates with artisans to create unique pieces such as candle holders, ceramic pots & other handcrafted items. Through their work with these talented artisans—individuals who create by hand—they wanted to pay tribute to the artisans themselves.To honor crafts, we decided to create a Unique Tablecloth showcasing the workers of the hands. We have asked a Mallorcan artist- Cecilia Forteza- to draw the characters. The whole scene is hand embroidered onto XIXth century castle bed linen. It is a celebration of various artisans, such as a ceramist, a glassblower, a candle makers, a flamenco dancer, a gardener. Each artisan’s craft is thoughtfully represented in the design, paying homage to the hands that shape these beautiful creations.
