A signature, unmistakably Karen Walker shape, the Northern Lights’ ultra-flattering, curving frame is rendered with a new technique giving a frosted jellybean-esque finish to the façade. The temples are accented by a polished gold metal Karen Walker arrow, against a splice of ivory. This silhouette is crafted in premium bio-acetate, a more natural version of acetate made with wood pulp that’s cultivated and harvested according to the guidelines of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and a unique vegetable-derived solution that replaces traditional chemical plasticiser.
