Kara Yoo Jewelry Sand Nautilus On Raw Silk

This pendant was hand-carved out of wax based on microscopic images of individual grains of sand. I loved the idea of magnifying these single grains of sand as a token that there's wonder all around us, we just have to take the time to look.

For Spring 24, it's strung on raw Chinese Habotai silk cord, hand-dyed in the USA. Please allow for differences in the color of the silk as it is hand-dyed.
