Feats of craftsmanship with a slightly surreal feel, each oversized Wicker Elephant is weaved by a single artisan over the course of four days. After the reeds are hand-soaked and woven, an additional two days is spent trimming and sanding the sculpture by hand. Each piece is then coated with a clear lacquer to enhance the natural rattan coloring.
