Ambroise is a handcrafted beeswax pillar candle by Apis Cera, made in a custom mold and featuring a honeycomb-textured finish. Shorter and thicker than the flagship Lucienne, Ambroise is poured, not rolled. Each box of two candles arrives in secure, custom packaging, wrapped in bee-printed silk paper and sealed with Apis Cera’s signature. Named for Saint Ambrose, the patron of beekeepers.

Care

• During its first use, leave the candle burning for at least two and a half hours or wait until the surface has entirely melted. It will prevent the formation of a pool
• If the flame is too big, the wick needs to be shortened. Put out the candle and cut the wick a little. It should be approx. half an inch (15 mm)
• Don’t let it burn for more than 3 consecutive hours
• For safety, please place the candle on a stand or a cup and not in a glass
• To extend the burning time, you may store it in your refrigerator
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Do not burn on flammable or fragile surface including above radiator and in draughts.
• Use extinguisher to avoid smoke, and ensure complete extinguishing and intact wick.
