This catalogue accompanied Nancy Spero's exhibition Let the Priests Tremble, which opened Ikon’s home in Brindleyplace on 21 March 1998.

Nancy Spero (1926 - 2009) is widely recognised as one of the most important women artists of the 20th century. Drawing inspiration from classical and modern sources, Spero collaged and printed images of women, from Greek goddesses to screen icons, onto the walls around the gallery.

Includes an essay by M. Catherine de Zegher and Foreword by Elizabeth A. Macgregor.
