This catalogue accompanies Arturo Herrera's first solo exhibition in the UK.

The work embraces a variety of media including collage, painting, wall drawing and projected animations. The artist’s practice involves taking familiar imagery, often sourced from popular culture, and deconstructing it, only to recombine it with references from modernist abstraction and surrealism.

The notion of otherness is built in to his work through the joining together of language and process.
