Helen Kaminski HK X Bábbarra Land Bag Bag Basket Natural/Flax

In partnership with Bábbarra Designs, artist Raylene Bonson has created a unique print depicting Marebu. The design comes from her mother’s side and is a special Kuninjku story.

A Marebu is a handwoven mat made of Pandanus, a palm-like tree, and often coloured with natural dyes. It is an important multi use item serving practical and ceremonial purposes. Each length of fabric has been screen printed by hand in Melbourne, Australia.
