Burnside is knitted in 4ply Shetland yarn in our Mill in Hawick, round neck with a loose fit and a slight drop shoulder.Our pure Shetland wool is grown and spun in the Shetland Isles by a family owned business which has specialised in wool from native Shetland sheep for five generations. Indigenous to the isles, the Shetland sheep have a soft resilient fleece to protect them from the harsh climate of their North Atlantic home. It is this unique texture that has made pure Shetland wool famous all over the world.
