Our version is knitted from the world’s finest alpaca (top 0.1% in fiber finesse), and is ethically crafted in our small family-owned workshop in Peru with unmatched attention to detail and care. The Natural color is the actual natural color of the fiber, undyed.

This piece is 100% traceable (to the specific herding family), certified organic, and ethically made: from the fibers selectively sourced in the Peruvian Highlands to the hand-finishing in Lima, Peru. Impeccably crafted from 100% Imperial grade alpaca, with a fiber finesse of 16-17 microns and a comfort factor of 99.3%. Our Imperial Alpaca is superior to cashmere as it is more durable, versatile and more sustainable.

We are part of a sustainable alpaca network working directly with the small scale farmers in the Peruvian Highlands to significantly improve the genetics of the alpaca to produce a finer higher quality fiber, in turn increasing the income of the herder families. These programs enable us to work with lots of fully traceable high-quality alpaca.
