Murakumo or "gathering clouds" when translated to English is a perfect description for these pieces of art from Samurai Jeans. Made from a proprietary unsanforized 17oz slub denim which has extremely irregular yarns in both the warp and weft so the result is a super slubby denim. The rope dyed indigo used in this jean allows the white weft to shine through to give a lighter blue color that really does resemble the clouds and the sky. A true example of the craftsman ship offered by Samurai Jeans.

Offered in Samurai's very popular 710 Slim Straight cut which offers a medium rise, a roomy top block and a very mild taper for a slimming jean that still allows ease of movement. A very versatile cut of jean that has been a favorite of ours for many years so we are extremely excited to offer it in the shop.
