Freenote Cloth has introduced a new denim, a 17oz slub selvedge denim woven exclusively for them by Yoshiwa Mills in Japan. The denim is incredibly durable and features a slubby texture that will yield a beautiful patina through repeated wear. In addition to the typical fade patterns of raw denim, the slub yarns help create textured vertical fading as well. While the weight and rugged feel of the denim may be intimidating at first, the fabric breaks in relatively quickly, resulting in a pant that feels both soft and sturdy. For the final touch of customization, the selvedge ID is Freenote's signature antique gold, a nod to the golden age of denim manufacturing when every denim brand had a unique selvedge ticker.
