Corten steel is almost pure carbon steel but machined to provide a weatherproof coating on its surface. The surface is originally greyish, due the weather conditions it turns reddish-brown (resembles the colour of rusting), which becomes darker within time.

Upon proper use, the Corten steel is vivid, long-lasting and maintenance-free, withstanding time in a unique manner. Cor-Ten products can be stored outdoors all year round. Does not require storage.
