He has also published three books, Found Photos (1991) Hysteric Glamour ( 2001) and Four Thousand Threads (2015).

His first solo exhibition was at the Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff in 1980 soon followed by group shows at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and the Serpentine Gallery in London. In the 80’s he ran a record label in London called PRE - Releasing and designing the works of artists such as Gregory Isaacs and Pince Far I.
