Geisha Designs Pearl Gown

The 'Pearl' gown has been inspired from the coral reefs, these reefs are home to sea anemones, a variety of fishes, sea horses, sea stars and an entire biostructure of organisms. Our fascination with flowers and gardens is a never-ending love affair, so this time we wanted to take inspiration from gardens under the sea and translate it into something beautiful. The 'Pearl' gown features a structured bust inspired from basket weave, intricate embroidery and sequin work on the entire bodice, motifs inspired from coral reefs and the flora/fauna of the sea, lastly the ruffles at the bottom are translated from waves that appear in shallow lagoons.
