Geisha Designs Agnes Dress

This season we took inspiration from the ocean, the iridescent shades of the sea, the colors of the coral reef and the abundant flora and fauna. The 'Agnes' pleated dress in particular is inspired from the Siamese fighting fish, ferocious in nature, these fishes are known for their vibrant jewel tone colors and beautiful fins. The print is used in a way that they enhance the circular feeling of the patterns, the fabrics used are tulle/georgette which have been stiffened using advanced tailoring techniques, in a way that the fabric stands against gravity and flares out in order to achieve a fin like shape.
