Once fitted, the knobs connect through the door using a traditional mortice turning mechanism, offering a secure and responsive turning action. Designed for internal spaces such as bedrooms, hallways, lounges, and studies, the set provides daily reliability. It does not include a latch, but in most cases, the existing tubular mortice latch within the door can be used without any modification. The knobs are made to fit standard 8 mm spindle latches commonly found, and are also compatible with separately purchased 60 mm or 70 mm mortice latches when needed. The fixing method uses through-bolts, where the knobs are fastened together through the door for stability and a secure hold. The chrome base enhances durability, and the rounded ceramic shape offers a smooth, comfortable grip suitable for frequent turning. Compatible with doors made of solid wood, engineered timber, or MDF, with a standard thickness between 3.5 cm and 4.5 cm (35 mm to 45 mm). While designed for UK interiors, the knobs have also been successfully installed across Europe and the United States. European customers should confirm spindle size and door thickness; slight adjustment may be required for US fittings, ideally with the support of a carpenter or experienced DIYer. Not suitable for cupboards, drawers.
