Yayoi is made from locally sourced Pennsylvania Maple as the canvas for our multicolored polka dot design. Each inlay is made in our Philadelphia studio from odds and ends around the shop, resulting in a colorful array of wood varieties. Multiple layers of inlays are cut and set into the board making each unique in color and design. Like many of our products, Yayoi is created using reclaimed materials to minimize our global impact on the environment. Each board is finished with food grade oil and polished with our signature board butter conditioning wax.
