Hand cut and sewn in our English sewing rooms using a neat single needle seam and finished with real mother-of-pearl buttons, our Blue Linen Shirt will be perfect for a sultry Summer evening, the elegant day with chinos or jeans and hot holidays with a pair of linen trousers.

The new collection is woven in Italy too, with a slightly less silky feel to the Herringbones and Solbiati earlier collection, but the dry texture is perfect for the heat and we love and have bought so many colours from this mill for many happy years.

The simple flat front is also less formal than the raised front, with the tail softly curved in case you prefer to wear untucked, a softer collar lining, but still structured for a sharp, elegant look, whether worn casually or with a jacket.

We recommend washing at 40 degrees and pressing damp for the softest finish.
