Eden Books Stuffed With Love

They say cousins are friends for life.

Charlie, Valerie, and I grew up within blocks of each other. Our parents were siblings, and our family stayed close. The three of us were inseparable throughout school and graduated together. Later that night at a party we played a crazy game of truth or dare. The next morning, she was gone. She chose a school far away, leaving us only with memories.

It’s been five years since Valerie’s been home for a holiday gathering and now, she’s back with plans to host Thanksgiving dinner.

She’s all grown up and we intend to finish what started all those years ago.

This Thanksgiving she’s the one getting stuffed.
