Eden Books Jackie’s Diary: April 2024

Dear Diary,

It’s been a few years since I gave you any attention! I’ve missed you! Today, I decided to find you buried in my closet and start writing again! I’m 20 years old now (soon to be 21). Not the immature 18-year-old I was when I first got you. So much has happened in the last few years. For one, I met a boy! His name’s Mike and he’s amazing! I really think he could be the one. We met at school. He approached me while I was studying in the library and we got to talking…and well…things are going great. I told him I wanted to take things slow. I really like him, I’m just worried about Daddy. He gets very protective of me. I’m supposed to see Mike again on Saturday. We have a date night planned. Dinner and a movie. Things are moving pretty fast. I think I’ll tell Daddy about it tomorrow. I don’t know why I’m so nervous, I’m sure he’ll approve. I’ll just have to reassure Daddy that things between us won’t change, I’m still his “special” girl. But at some point I have to fly from the nest. Right? Anyway it’s getting late so I should probably get some sleep. I missed you Diary, you’re a good listener! Hehe!
