Eden Books Fever Dream

I’m a complete monster.

I tell her she’s sick with an ailment she doesn’t have.

I give her drugs she doesn’t need.

I touch her in ways a brother shouldn’t touch a sister.

But all my sins exist in private.

In a peaceful twilight state while she’s asleep.

To her, it’s all just a fever dream.
