History:  An undeniable powerhouse and juggernaut of the Negro Leagues, the Homestead Grays secured nine consecutive league titles and three Negro World Series championships from 1937 to 1948. Some of baseball’s most legendary Hall of Famers showcased their skills with the Grays, including first baseman Buck Leonard who played for the Grays during the 1931 season. 

The Grounds Crew program celebrates the workers who kept the baseball diamond in tip-top shape. The jacket is made from a soft but durable cotton with stretch. The jacket is lined with a lightweight cotton, which makes it ideal for spring and summer. Details include a metal zip closure, hand pockets, a chest pocket, sewn felt chest and back lettering, and tab adjusters for dialing in the fit.
