History: Independent leagues have always been a foundation of the game of baseball, so we pay homage when we can, especially when the team is from Brooklyn. The Bushwicks were a top semi-pro team back when teams below the major leagues were still considered major by many of their fans. 

To pay tribute to a foundational team that played a stone’s throw from our namesake, we crafted a replica of the Bushwicks’ cap from 1949, complete with their blue and orange colors and a felt “B” on the crown.
