Nancy McKie is an artist from the north of the UK, who lives with her husband and three kids. She grew up in Scotland, in a tiny seaside village in a college right next to the sea with her parents and two sisters. Nancy’s dad has always been an artist and was always surrounded by this growing up and this was a big inspiration for her. Having children herself really brought her back to being creative. Nancy’s work mainly used recycled materials like cardboard but has now moved on to bigger canvas. She has gone on to work with some great brands and has had illustrations used in a few different books.
