LIPIGRAN Weizenkeimöl is obtained from fresh wheat germs and has a mild wheat flavour.  Through partial deacidification, the content of free fatty acids is reduced to such an extent that the oil has a mild nutty taste.

Wheat germ oil naturally contains a high content of tocopherols (vitamin E) compared to other plant oils. LIPIGRAN Weizenkeimöl provides this tocopherol content in a consistent quality and amount.

Vitamin E helps to protect cells from oxidative stress. The high proportion of unsaturated fats is also an important feature. The use of unsaturated fats instead of saturated fats in the diet helps to maintain a normal cholesterol level in the blood.
