Designers Guild Cement Stoneware Medium Plate

These plates are handmade in Portugal from a rare clay variety found in France, having a specific grey colour. After the first firing the plates are dipped into a semi-reactive glaze and baked again. The result is a robust plate with an earthy colour and deliberate variation so no two plates are exactly the same.
