This Deakin & Francis tie slide is made from sprung sterling silver and bears our signature skull motif in oxidised silver. We've been obsessed with pirates and skulls since 1786 when our jewellery business was founded. Our family folklore tells the tale that our ancestors defended a royal personage from marauding pirates. As a nod towards these brave swash buckling heroes, we use our skull motif to defend against evil-doers.
