The Crail day/evening jacket is similar in most ways to the Argyll jacket, but with plain cuffs for a slightly less formal look. This makes it more suitable for day wear. With a flattering cut, and genuine Scottish tailoring, the Crail jacket will look great on all shapes and sizes. How we make it:The Crail jacket is made from top quality 14oz 100% pure new wool tweed cloth, with a single button on the front, two side vents, cuffs with 3 buttons, pocket flaps with 3 buttons, and epaulettes. All buttons have washer and ring fittings.

When to wear it:A Crail outfit would often be seen at Scottish social events such as ceilidhs, Highland Games, or simply as general office or day wear. An outfit including the Crail jacket is also perfectly acceptable for guests at weddings.

What to wear it with:When worn for Highland Dress, the Crail jacket should be accompanied by a semi-dress sporran, a standard collar shirt and an optional tie/ bow tie. A Jacobite shirt is also an option. Just like the Argyll, the Crail is a very versatile jacket and can also be worn with or without a waistcoat, with trews or even ordinary trousers.

Your Choices:Bone Buttons are a standard suggestion, but Silver Gilt or Antique Silver buttons can be specified if preferred.
